NASA recently re-scanned and released high-resolution photos from the Apollo missions in their native, unedited format, allowing us to get a look at the surface of the moon in unprecedented detail.

The photos as released, however, had no color-correction, cropping, or manipulations of any kind, which left some looking a little underexposed and washed-out. I have taken the liberty of tweaking a number of these photos, and present them here, for your enjoyment. Apollo moon photos like you’ve never seen them before.
